New Product Release: HRF-g High Resolution Film
January 11, 2004 - Microchrome Technology has included a high resolution film to its product line that is sensitive to green and blue light making it orthochrornatic. The product code is HRF-g. The resolution of this film is 2000 line pairs per mm utilizing special narrow wave length bandwidths of light. The initial size offered will be 8x10 inches with a base material thickness of .007 inches.
This film can be used in projection or contact printing systems. All optical systems used To focus light to this film must be color corrected to exactly match the filtered bandwidth used to expose the film. Of course planarity of the film must be achieved during exposure.
This film will be useful in manufacturing low cost scales and optical components. It can also be utilized to manufacture photomasks and phototools for the precision PC board industry. This medium can also be utilized in photographic reproduction of artwork or text for archival purposes or display.
Another potential use is in holography for low cost holography or holographic displays where glass substrates may not be a requirement.
HRF-g will be available in packages of 25 sheets for 8x10" sizes and will be a stock item. The photographic processes for this material are currently on our website at http://www.microchrometechnology.com for both negative and reversal processing.
